Station II. Hand Anatomy in the Renaissance

After various centuries of anatomical criteria, stunned by religious reasons mainly, a true “revolution” of the knowledge in the Renaissance was carried out;  a  comprehensive cultural movementwas chiefly executed in Western Europe during XV and XVI.

The main actors of those times and the most important works  related to the Hand Anatomy will be exhibited in this station by Dr Juan Carlos Cagnone.
